“Hope to see you next time.” I said to a young man I met recently.  With a smile on his face he said, “Oh yes, you are going to see me again next month.”  “That’s what I was hoping you would say.” I replied, glad at the realisation of how the training has impacted him. On the 25th of July we had our bi-monthly training, NLTC (New Living Training Curriculum). It’s evangelism, discipleship and personal leadership development training that is aimed at pastors, community leaders and tertiary students. This year we have been glad to see more students as our trainees. This young man I was talking to is from UCT (University of Cape Town). This university has recently been in the news for quite a number of social issues.

It was wonderful to see students from tertiary institutions. They are the future leaders of our country. What better way to start than while they are still studying? It was encouraging to see them equipped, not only spiritually but also personally.  We hope to have them through the whole programme so that they can receive certification when they are done.

Praise and prayer reports

Praise God for students as our trainees

Praise God that they are coming back to the training again.

Please pray that they use what they have been taught and that it doesn’t just stay with them.
